SSL Certificate Generator
Find out exactly what an SSL Certificate Generator is and what purpose it has.
If you need to use an SSL Certificate on your site, to protect the payment and login information that users upload, you will need a Certificate Signing Request, or CSR. The Request contains all the info related to the entity that will use the SSL in an encrypted form, for instance the exact web address for the website, the Business/Organization name, physical and email address. It needs to be submitted to a vendor, or Certificate Authority, which reviews the submitted details and depending on it, gives the SSL certificate. The SSL set up requires 4 bits of code - the certificate, the CSR, a unique private key that is generated together with the CSR and the SSL vendor private key. A website which has an SSL installed can be opened with https:// rather than the usual http:// and the information submitted for the CSR will be viewed in standard text format through an Internet browser.
SSL Certificate Generator in Shared Website Hosting
In case you host a site in a shared website hosting account obtained from our company and its users send sensitive info, you can get an SSL certificate for it directly from your hosting Control Panel and with no more than a couple of clicks. We have an easy-to-use order wizard, thus you only need to select the domain/subdomain and enter the necessary details for the Certificate Signing Request. You'll receive an email to approve your order and soon after the SSL is issued, it'll be installed automatically by our system, so you won't need to deal with any codes or settings. If you want to use the services of some other Certificate Authority, you can only obtain a CSR through your Control Panel and then copy the code that you are required to submit for the SSL. You'll see the private key generated together with the CSR in the same section.
